Job summary

Brio Digital Limited is seeking a Service Designer to join a Leeds-based programme transforming customer access across council services. You will be embedded in the programme, supporting discovery, design workshops, and journey mapping with diverse stakeholders and delivery partners.

You will help develop service standards, operating models and reusable patterns while ensuring accessibility and inclusive design across channels. Hybrid working with client workshops is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience designing services within large, complex organisations.
• Experience delivering public sector or local government transformation programmes.
• Proficiency in mapping end-to-end journeys and creating service blueprints.
• Ability to design engaging workshops for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of user-centred design methods and accessibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate discovery activities across customer-facing services.
• Design and run workshops with customers, stakeholders and service teams.
• Map end-to-end customer journeys and analyze needs, pain points and opportunities.
• Develop service blueprints and future-state service designs.
• Support testing and validation of proposed service designs.
• Produce governance papers and engage senior stakeholders.
