Job summary

Accenture PLC in the UK is hiring a Service Designer to craft end-to-end service experiences, collaborating with stakeholders and user researchers to define and refine services across digital and offline touchpoints.

You will create service blueprints, journey maps and run workshops with cross-functional teams, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity and adherence to design standards while delivering measurable user value.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Designer or similar field.
• Experience with Government Digital Service design principles.
• Advocate for user-centred design.
• Ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with design systems, libraries, style guides and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs.
• Support User Researchers in gathering insights to inform design decisions.
• Champion user-centred design and communicate its value, focusing on inclusivity and accessibility.
• Create service blueprints and journey maps to visualise end-to-end experiences.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain alignment.
• Ensure adherence to client design standards, systems and best practices.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including Interaction Designers, Researchers, Content Designers, Developers.
• Present work and rationale to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Iterate on designs using data, form hypotheses and validate via testing.
