Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland seeks a Service Designer to craft end-to-end experiences across digital and offline channels from its Newcastle office. The role is hybrid, with a minimum of three days onsite at the Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to create service blueprints, journey maps and place user-centred design at the core, champion accessibility and sustainability, and present findings to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a Service Designer or similar field.
• Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles.
• Experience advocating for user-centred design.
• Experience negotiating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with design systems, libraries, style guides and existing patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and user needs.
• Support researchers in gathering user insights.
• Champion user-centred design, accessibility and sustainability.
• Create service blueprints and journey maps for end-to-end experiences.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and delivery teams to gather insights.
