Job summary

Clearline Recruitment Ltd in Burgess Hill is seeking a Service Demand Planning Associate to coordinate day-to-day scheduling of service resources and support capacity planning.

This hybrid role requires hands-on, detail-oriented work with strong communication across internal and external stakeholders, and experience with CRM/ERP systems. You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • A-level education or equivalent with English and Maths GCSEs.
  • Experience in demand planning, scheduling or resource coordination is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with stakeholder experience.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or SAP or similar systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Resilience and adaptability in changing conditions.
  • Experience in a technology-led environment, healthcare a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and planning of service resources.
  • Monitor demand and supply activity using internal systems and tools.
  • Resolve short-term scheduling conflicts and capacity issues.
  • Keep customers and internal stakeholders updated on planning changes.
  • Support weekly demand and supply balance activities.
  • Assist with medium and long-term capacity planning and service forecasting.
  • Support planning for installations, de-installations and relocations.
  • Maintain accurate system data for operational visibility.
  • Support inventory and logistics coordination to ensure stock availability.
  • Monitor supply chain changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate out-of-hours service activity when required.
  • Adhere to defined processes, instructions and governance.
  • Highlight recurring planning issues and contribute to improvements.

Job description

Role: Service Demand Planning Associate

Location: Burgess Hill (Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week in the office)

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Pay: £15 - £17 per hour PAYE basic, excluding holiday pay / £19.89 - £22.55 per hour UMB, including holiday pay

Contract: 6 months

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Demand Planning Associate to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation based in Burgess Hill.

This role is primarily focused on the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of service resources, with additional support across capacity planning, inventory management and longer-term demand planning.

The position requires a hands-on and organised approach, with strong attention to detail, accurate system updates and confident communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The Requirements

  • Experience within demand planning, scheduling or resource coordination desirable
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or enterprise systems such as SAP
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple enquiries and changing priorities
  • Previous experience within a technology-led environment, ideally healthcare, would be advantageous
The Role

  • Maintain accurate system data to support operational visibility
  • Support inventory and logistics coordination, ensuring field teams have the right stock available
  • Monitor supply chain changes and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate out-of-hours service activity when required
  • Adhere to defined processes, working instructions and governance requirements
  • Highlight recurring planning issues and contribute to continuous improvement
