Job summary

Glen Callum Associates Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain & Demand Planning Specialist for a central UK role (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire). The role focuses on transforming modernising the planning capability with ownership of forecasting, inventory and planning processes.

You will implement new processes and planning technology, influence stakeholders and drive improvements across functions to build a robust planning function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing, sub-assembly, distribution, wholesale or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory and supply-chain processes.
• Experience using supply-chain planning tools and technologies.
• Experience of process improvement, systems implementation or supply-chain transformation.
• The confidence and gravitas to influence across multiple functions.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Interest in technology, data and improving planning capability.
• Ambition to progress towards a future management or leadership role.

Responsibilities

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an established Supply Chain and Demand Planning professional who combines technical capability with commercial awareness, curiosity and the confidence to influence others.

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience within Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
• Experience working within a complex manufacturing, sub-assembly, distribution, wholesale or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory and supply-chain processes.
• Experience using supply-chain planning tools and technologies.
• Experience of process improvement, systems implementation or supply-chain transformation.
• The confidence and gravitas to influence and work effectively across multiple functions.
• A collaborative approach, while also being comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
• A genuine interest in technology, data and improving planning capability.
• Ambition to progress towards a future management or leadership role.

Systems experience:

Experience with Slimstock / Slim4 would be particularly attractive, although candidates with strong experience of other supply-chain planning and forecasting systems are encouraged to apply.
