Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and a reliable level of service. You will manage daily routes, load/unload stock, keep accurate records, and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting the transport team.

• Manage daily delivery routes.
• Load and unload vehicles and place stock into designated areas at customer sites.
• Ensure vehicles are stocked with sundry items such as repair labels and bags.
• Collect and deliver items per route documentation, including loading and unloading on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and act as a liaison between customers and the business.
• Support the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team.

We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant. This role is key to ensuring compliance with transport legislation while delivering a reliable, high-quality service to our customers.

The role

As a Service Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for managing daily delivery routes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service at every interaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team
