Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant. You will manage daily routes and maintain accurate delivery records while delivering a reliable, high-quality service.

A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC are required. You will build strong customer relationships and support the Transport Manager with route coverage and ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 driving licence is required.
• Valid CPC is required to apply.
• Experience delivering to customer sites is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading vehicles and placing stock at customer sites.
• Ensure vehicles are stocked with sundry items (repair labels, bags).
• Collecting and delivering items per route documentation and exchanging mats.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and act as liaison between customers and the business.
• Support the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties to support the transport and service delivery team.

We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant. This role is key to ensuring compliance with transport legislation while delivering a reliable, high-quality service to our customers.

The role

As a Service Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for managing daily delivery routes, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service at every interaction.

A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC is required to apply for this role.

Your responsibilities will include

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team
