Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect stock between customer sites and the plant. This role ensures compliance with transport legislation while delivering reliable, high-quality service to customers.

The role requires a valid CPC and 7.5-ton licence, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, paperwork, and building strong customer relations as a key liaison with the business.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites.
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sundry items such as repair labels and bags.
• Collecting and delivering items per route documentation, including lockers and mats.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and acting as liaison.
• Covering routes for absent drivers when required to support the Transport Manager.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant. This role is key to ensuring compliance with transport legislation while delivering a reliable, high-quality service to our customers.

Please note - this role requires any applicant to hold a valid CPC and 7.5ton Licence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team
