Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Service team in Leicester. You will be the first point of contact for customers, coordinating service orders from triage to scheduling and ensuring timely updates to clients.

You will handle inquiries via phone and email, create or progress quotes, and ensure data accuracy across our systems. Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP CRM is preferred, with a focus on proactive communication and ownership of tasks.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in customer service within a customer facing environment.
• Knowledge of Salesforce & SAP CRM is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Taking ownership, use of initiative and being proactive.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails, provide estimates and lead times for site visits, depot orders, and parts.
• Progress service quotes into orders and distribute them as tasks to schedulers.
• Ensure purchase orders and customer details are accurate in systems.
• Raise customer requests and identify the appropriate technician, keeping the customer informed.
• Provide regular updates on service order status and spare part deliveries.
• Handle depot queries, returns, and provide depot order status updates.
• Maintain service management systems with up-to-date notes and order statuses.
• Confirm scheduling in Salesforce when the customer agrees.
