Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Transport Service Coordinator to oversee day-to-day service delivery, allocate work to vehicles/routes, and maintain proactive communication with customers and drivers. The role requires hands-on interaction with frontline staff and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have solid IT skills, experience with ISO quality management, and the ability to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment at Veolia Beighton site.

Qualifications

• Understanding of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Strong communication with drivers, frontline staff and customers.
• Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace.
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and adapting to Google OS tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service delivery and dynamically allocate work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates and maintain driver contact.
• Conduct debriefs with frontline staff and report necessary actions or updates.
