We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Glaucoma Unit at Heavitree Hospital as a Service Coordinator within our ophthalmology team. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
In this key role, you will oversee the daily management and leadership of the administrative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused services. You will work closely with clinicians, management, and administrative staff to provide excellent customer care and support the continuous development and improvement of our services.

We are looking for a candidate passionate about service improvement, with excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm for new challenges.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, calm, and flexible in working with staff and patients. You should be skilled at motivating others, supporting staff through change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
