Are you ready to take ownership, build client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where excellence is the norm? MRC is an award-winning, forward-thinking business in the medico-legal sector, and we’re on a journey of growth, innovation, and impact.

This is more than a job, it’s a chance to join a genuinely exciting SME where your skills, ideas, and ambition will be recognised and celebrated. As our new Service Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in making sure our services are delivered to the highest standards while helping to shape the future of the business.

If you love being trusted with responsibility, solving problems before they appear, and delivering stand-out service, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the Service Journey

Take full ownership of casework delivery; from first instruction to final return. You’ll ensure that every case flows smoothly through our systems, meeting deadlines, exceeding expectations, and making our clients’ lives easier. You’ll become the go-to person for quality, consistency, and care.

2. Be the Client’s Champion

Act as a trusted partner to our solicitor clients. Whether you’re answering a query, providing an estimate, or checking in post-delivery, your professionalism and attention to detail will build long-lasting relationships that help drive our business forward.

3. Be the Gold Standard for Accuracy

You’ll produce, prepare, and quality-check important legal and medical documents, so precision is key. You’ll work with digital files, radiology reports, and case summaries, making sure everything is accurate, complete, and professionally presented.

4. Drive Improvement and Innovation

We’re growing and we’re hungry for ideas. You’ll have a seat at the table when it comes to improving processes, spotting inefficiencies, and creating smarter ways of working. You’ll be encouraged to challenge the norm and bring fresh thinking to how we deliver excellence.

5. Develop, Lead and Contribute

This is a role where you can grow with the business. You’ll contribute to internal training, help maintain quality assurance standards, and play your part in shaping the service culture of our team. As your confidence grows, so will your influence.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Skills and Experience (Essential)

• Proven experience in a service-focused, client-facing or operations role.

• Exceptionally organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines at once.

• Outstanding communication skills — confident on the phone, clear in emails, and always professional.

• Meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive documentation.

• Driven, enthusiastic, and proactive — always looking to improve how things are done.

• Commercially aware — able to balance customer service with business needs.

• A positive team player, willing to pitch in and support colleagues.

Nice to Have (Desirable)

• Experience in a legal, medical or professional services environment.

• Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.

• An understanding of case management or document collation systems.

What You’ll Get in Return

• A chance to be part of a genuinely exciting SME making big moves in its sector.

• A role that offers real ownership, development, and visibility.

• A passionate, supportive team that celebrates wins and learns from challenges.

• A business that genuinely cares about its people and its purpose.
