Job summary

Arriva is seeking a Team Leader for the Birmingham Service Centre. You will oversee service centre responsibilities, ensure timely delivery of supplies to CrossCountry and clients, and coach staff to maintain high performance across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

You must have a background in team leadership or management, with logistics experience; basic food hygiene is desirable. You must live within one hour of Birmingham New Street and be prepared to travel at unsocial hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a background in team leadership or management.
• Experience in logistics is desirable.
• Basic food hygiene experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely preparation and delivery of supplies and equipment to CrossCountry and clients.
• Carry out service centre checks and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
• Clean service centre and dispose of packaging/waste materials responsibly.
• Maintain stock and equipment levels; account for movements using procedures.
• Provide training and coaching to new entrants and existing staff.
• Provide relief cover for the Service Centre Manager and at other locations.
