Job summary
Group 1 Automotive’s Kia Maidstone location is seeking a Service Advisor to be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicle is in for maintenance and repair. You’ll welcome customers, provide progress updates, and promote services to support vehicle health and shop revenue.
The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, product knowledge, and effective communication within a busy aftersales environment.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
- Proven experience in delivering customer service.
- Ability to identify customer needs and upsell appropriately.
- Good time management and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in a target-driven role.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep customers informed on progress of vehicle repairs for transparency.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge through manufacturer-led training.
- Promote additional services and repairs based on technician recommendations.
- Schedule workshop appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct pre-appointment calls to confirm bookings and address questions.
- Maintain accurate customer records in our systems.
