Service Advisor Opportunity in Yeovil - Up to £28,000!

Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking for a new challenge in Yeovil? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service? If so, this Service Advisor role in Yeovil offers a fantastic opportunity to join a leading team, with a salary up to £28,000 and flexible working hours!

As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their vehicle repair and service needs are met with the highest level of care and attention. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining the progress of customer vehicle repair work, communicating any additional work required, obtaining authority, and ensuring full payment of cash accounts before releasing the vehicle.

Taking instructions from customers and efficiently processing service and repair orders in the workshop, obtaining customer signatures on completed repair orders.
*

Notifying customers of vehicle status and arranging collection or delivery.
*

Handing over vehicles professionally and in a clean condition, inspecting vehicles for any bodywork damage, explaining the repair work carried out, and re-booking vehicles for future work if needed.
*

Ensuring that technician job card write-ups and time allocation are well-documented for accurate billing.
*

Maintaining a good working relationship with customers by answering the telephone and responding to queries promptly, ensuring repeat business.
*

Ensuring customer vehicle history is reviewed and maintained, and customers are informed of required services.
*

Ensuring customers who are waiting for their vehicles are comfortable.
*

Ensuring customer vehicles are secure at all times, especially when parked in the compound.
*

Assisting the Service Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the service desk.
*

Maintaining the smooth running of the 24-hour service for incoming breakdowns and authorising repairs.

What we're looking for:

Experience working in an Auto or HGV company.
*

Previous experience in a similar Service Advisor role.
*

Experience in the truck or related industry.
*

Strong analytical skills.
*

Proactive approach to maintaining customer service standards.
*

Good telephone manner and attention to detail.
