Job summary

Yeomans Honda Worthing is seeking a proactive Service Advisor to join our busy service department. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, convert enquiries into workshop bookings, and greet customers warmly throughout the day.

You will book vehicles into the technical workshop and liaise with the workshop team to keep customers updated on progress and promised collection times. We value customer-first service, professional communication, and a willingness to learn as manufacturer-led

Responsibilities

• Making and receiving calls, converting contacts into workshop bookings
• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Booking vehicles into the technical workshop
• Liaising with the technical workshop to track progress and ensure timely pickup
• Providing exceptional customer service, including arranging onward travel and updating customers during their vehicle's service
• Maintaining product knowledge through manufacturer-led training
• Adopting a professional approach to selling repairs required
• Maintaining housekeeping and orderly administration of work and up-selling related products

Job description

• Making and receiving calls, to and from our customers whose vehicles require maintenance attention and converting these contacts into workshop bookings
• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day
• Booking vehicles into the technical workshop
• Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles' progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time
• Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their vehicle is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers
• Maintaining thorough product expertise and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training
• Adopting a professional approach regarding the sale of repairs required
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work
• Appropriately up selling related products and services as applicable
