Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough is seeking a Service Advisor to join our established dealership in Slough. You will be the main link between customers and the workshop, ensuring outstanding service quality and clear communication throughout the service or repair process.

We offer a £35,000 basic salary with £41,000 OTE plus benefits, and a Monday–Friday pattern with weekends off, supporting genuine work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Previous customer facing service experience is essential.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting targets and deadlines.

The Service Advisor role is one of the most exciting and important roles in our dealership. Like us, you know that customer service isn’t just about providing a service – its about building warm, trusted relationships. The role holder acts as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding.

You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.

For this role, we are looking for you to have a previous customer facing service experience; this is essential for you to be considered. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.

Previous experience within a Service Advisor role in the motor trade is essential to be considered ideally within a main dealer.
