  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Candidates from non-automotive sales roles will not be considered.

Overview

Service Advisor – Location: Romford. Salary: Basic from £28,000 (depending on experience) + uncapped bonus OTE 40k plus. Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch); Saturday 08:30–16:00 (on rota, 1 in 4 weekends).

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers professionally and act as their main point of contact throughout the service process.
  • Accurately book vehicles in for service and repair work, ensuring workshop schedules run smoothly.
  • Provide clear explanations of service and repair requirements, costs, and estimated completion times.
  • Liaise with technicians and parts departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle history.
  • Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure every customer leaves fully satisfied with the service provided.
About You
  • Proven Service Advisor experience within a franchised dealership or reputable independent garage.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Candidates from non-automotive sales roles will not be considered for this position — Service Advisor experience within the motor trade is essential.
