Van Mossel Volkswagen Van Centre Poole is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. You will be the main link between customers and the workshop, delivering a premium aftersales experience and keeping customers informed throughout service and repair.

We value excellent communication, a professional approach, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work 45 hours per week with a competitive salary and extensive benefits.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our team at Volkswagen Van Centre in Poole.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and the workshop team, delivering a professional and seamless aftersales experience. You will be responsible for keeping customers informed throughout the service and repair process, providing expert advice, and ensuring every customer receives a premium level of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service and repair journey.

• Communicate and provide regular updates on the progress of customer vehicles while in the workshop.

• Explain vehicle faults and repair recommendations confidently and professionally.

• Identify opportunities to upsell essential and urgent repairs that benefit the customer.

• Deliver a premium customer experience that reflects the quality of our brand and vehicles.

• Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively, working towards positive resolutions.

• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in line with company procedures.

What you will need to be a Service Advisor at our Volkswagen Van Centre:

• Experience within a service department, main dealer experience would be an advantage

• Possess good technical knowledge with the ability to answer customer queries

• Ability to multitask and use your own initiative when faced with challenges

• Excellent communication and computer skills

• Impressive organisational skills

• Ability to thrive within a team

• Extensive knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given

• Professional and courteous manner

• Full UK driving licence

Hours of work will be 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 18.00 pm
