Job summary

Midlands Truck & Van is a Mercedes-Benz franchised commercial vehicle dealer with depots across the region, currently recruiting for a Service Advisor at our Milton Keynes Depot. You will greet customers, log vehicle details, prepare quotations for repairs, and coordinate pickup times with clients.

You will monitor repairs, communicate with the workshop team, perform vehicle inspections, and handle general admin to keep service operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive sector desirable.
• Experience in a customer contact and customer support position.
• General IT Skills including Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Checking in vehicles, entering customer and vehicle information on internal software.
• Creating quotations for repairs and works, ensuring the customer is happy.
• Arranging vehicle pickup date, time, method and location with the customer.
• Monitoring repair status and keeping the customer up to date.
• Explaining and handing over repair details to the workshop team.
• Performing visual inspections of vehicles before and after works.
• Undertaking general administrative duties to ensure smooth flow of work.

We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor at our Milton Keynes Depot.

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
• Checking in vehicles, including entering customer and vehicle information on internal software
• Creating quotations for customer on repairs and works, ensuring the customer is happy
• Arranging vehicle pick up date, time method and location with the customer
• Monitoring repair and works status, keeping the customer up to date
• Explaining and handing over the repair and work details to the workshop team
• Performing visual inspections of vehicles before and after any works conducted
• To undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service and Workshop teams

As a Service Advisor, you will have the following:
