Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group in Glasgow is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy commercial service team. You will greet customers, explain services, prepare estimates, and manage timelines to ensure a smooth experience.

In this role you will schedule appointments, coordinate loan vehicles, monitor progress, maintain records, process payments, and follow up with customers to secure satisfaction and repeat business. Salary up to £30,000 with OTE up to £35,000.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally, listen to concerns, explain services, estimates, and timelines, and offer recommendations based on vehicle condition.
• Schedule service appointments, coordinate loan vehicles or shuttle services, and communicate customer concerns to Service Technicians for accurate diagnosis and resolution.
• Monitor job progress, update customers on delays, and identify additional service opportunities while ensuring warranty and service procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, and customer profiles, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions.
• Follow up post-service to ensure customer satisfaction, address complaints, solicit feedback for improvement, and maintain positive customer relationships.

Job Opportunity

• Scheduling & Coordination: Efficiently schedule service appointments, coordinate loan vehicles or shuttle services, and communicate customer concerns to Service Technicians for accurate diagnosis and resolution.
• Job Monitoring & Updates: Monitor job progress, update customers on any delays, and identify additional service opportunities, while ensuring compliance with warranty and service procedures.
• Record Keeping & Payment Processing: Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, and customer profiles, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions.
