Job summary

Midlands Truck & Van is recruiting a Service Advisor at our Coventry Depot to greet customers, log vehicle details, and coordinate repairs. You will create quotes, arrange pickups, and keep customers informed while liaising with the workshop team.

Strong IT skills and excellent communication are essential, with a collaborative, team-based approach. Experience in automotive customer service is desirable, and the role benefits from a Pension Scheme, private healthcare and wellbeing support.

• Experience in the automotive sector desirable.
• Experience in a customer contact and customer support position.
• General IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Checking in vehicles, including entering customer and vehicle information on internal software.
• Creating quotations for customer on repairs and works, ensuring the customer is happy.
• Arranging vehicle pick up date, time method and location with the customer.
• Monitoring repair and works status, keeping the customer up to date.
• Explaining and handing over the repair and work details to the workshop team.
• Performing visual inspections of vehicles before and after any works conducted.
• Undertaking general administrative duties to ensure smooth flow of work within the Customer Service and Workshop teams.

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
