Job summary

Midlands Truck & Van in Dunstable is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver friendly customer service within a Mercedes-Benz franchise environment. You will handle check-ins, quotations, and arranging vehicle pickups, keeping customers updated.

Ideal candidates have automotive experience, strong IT skills, and excellent communication. You will work with workshop and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive sector desirable.
• Experience in a customer contact and customer support position.
• General IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Checking in vehicles, including entering customer and vehicle information on internal software.
• Creating quotations for customer on repairs and works, ensuring the customer is happy.
• Arranging vehicle pick up date, time method and location with the customer.
• Monitoring repair and works status, keeping the customer up to date.
• Explaining and handing over the repair and work details to the workshop team.
• Performing visual inspections of vehicles before and after any works conducted.
• To undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service and Workshop teams.

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
