Job summary

Midlands Truck & Van is seeking a Parts Advisor for our Wellingborough depot to support a busy parts department. The ideal candidate will be proactive with strong customer communication and knowledge of automotive parts; ADP/Kerridge experience is a great advantage.

Experience in commercial vehicle dealerships and proficiency with MS Office is preferred. We offer a competitive benefits package including a salary sacrifice pension, private healthcare and staff car schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial Vehicle/Automotive dealerships.
• Proactive and resourceful with a committed approach to customer care.
• Knowledge of ADP/Kerridge is a great advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and using multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily operations of the depot parts department.
• Process parts orders, returns and stock movements.
• Provide excellent customer service and product advice to workshop and customers.

We currently have a position for a Parts Advisor working out of our Wellingborough Depot

About the Role:

The role will support all aspects of the depot and will include tasks associated with a busy parts department.

The person we seek will ideally have experience within a busy automotive type business. Proactive and resourceful you will have a committed approach to customer care and an excellent communicator with knowledge of the computer system ADP/Kerridge a great advantage.

Preferred Qualification and experience:

• Experience of commercial Vehicle / Automotive dealerships
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of a busy parts environment whilst using multiple systems
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Good working knowledge of ADP

Shift:

• 1 week of early shift (06:00 - 14:30)
• 3 weeks of day shift (08:00 - 17:00) with 1 late per week (11:30 - 20:00)
• 1 week of day shift(08:00 - 17:00) with 2 late shifts (11:30 - 20:00)
• 1 in 5 saturdays.
