Market 36 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a skilled Service Advisor on behalf of our client based in Colchester, on a permanent basis.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the Service office and its overall profitability. You will also help maintain effective and accurate communication between customers and technicians regarding the repair and maintenance of Agricultural, Horticultural, and Crane machinery.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Raising job cards and invoices as required
  • Completing service department admin duties (Time sheets, job cards, warranty admin) efficiently
  • Managing existing customer accounts and building new relationships
  • Dealing with a wide range of customer expectations
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Communicating effectively and diplomatically with customers and colleagues
  • Engaging with customers with energy and enthusiasm
  • Working flexibly in an office/workshop environment as a team player
  • Communicating at all levels within the business
  • Handling confidential matters discreetly
  • Organizing and multitasking efficiently
  • Working self-motivated and collaboratively
  • Maintaining a professional and tidy appearance
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
  • Good PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Confidence and initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers and cash handling
