Octane Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor for a busy dealership in Bristol within a fast-paced aftersales department. You will be the main contact for customers during service or repair visits and help ensure clear, professional communication with the workshop.

The role offers a great salary up to £32,000 plus bonus OTE £40,000, with a permanent full-time contract, Monday to Friday hours, and Saturday mornings on a rota. Driving licence and right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a main dealership is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage customer expectations professionally.
• Excellent administration, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail in bookings and workshop schedules.
• Knowledge of Kerridge, RTC or eDynamix would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers during their service or repair visit.
• Manage service walk-in enquiries and provide clear, professional support.
• Liaise with workshop to provide quotes for required work.
• Check vehicles in and hand back to customers with records.
• Upsell additional work where appropriate, documenting findings.
• Carry out duties in line with brand service requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.

Job description

Service Advisor Requirements:

• Check vehicles in and hand them back to customers, ensuring all details are correctly recorded and explained.
• Identify and upsell additional work where appropriate, documenting all findings accurately.
• Carry out duties in line with brand service requirements and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
