Main Purpose of Job:
  • Maximise service department profitability through professional sales techniques and increasing customer awareness of available workshop services.
  • Work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction.
Service Advisor Job Role:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers entering the dealership.
  • Explain the repair process and book customer vehicles in.
  • Effectively sell products and services, and manage customer bookings.
  • Communicate with workshop technicians and customers to determine work required and obtain authorization.
  • Ensure the customer experience is enjoyable while providing high-quality customer service.
  • Raise job cards and provide customer estimates in line with company policies on scheduling and pricing.
  • Calculate charges for parts, labour, and repairs, ensuring accuracy.
  • Meet deadlines set by the Line Manager and company procedures.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for warranty work as per dealership policy.
  • Monitor jobs in progress and report issues to the Line Manager.
Requirements:
  • Full Clean Driving Licence is essential.
