Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to work across the North UK, visiting customers and supporting technically demanding projects. You will provide technical and commercial support, assist with design activities and identify new business opportunities to grow existing accounts.

Ideal candidates have a background in technical or field sales within electronics components, travel regularly, and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Background in technical sales or field sales within electronics/components.
• Experience supporting customer design activity and opportunities.
• Able to communicate with engineers, procurement, and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and commercial support to customers across the UK.
• Support customer design activity, qualification projects and design-in opportunities.
• Visit customers and attend meetings, exhibitions and supplier visits.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
• Support supplier presentations, training sessions and joint customer visits.
• Initially focus on growing existing business with a longer-term aim of new business.
