Job summary

Cognizant in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Integrations Consultant to bridge the gap between business and technical teams through complex Workday intersystem problems, guiding clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday project.

You will lead multiple workstreams, configure data mappings, and mentor other consultants, with travel on-site as required. 5+ years in Workday integrations and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Workday integrations, with focus on delivery and implementation.
• Proven experience leading multiple concurrent projects or workstreams in a consulting environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Workday integration technologies (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, RaaS, REST/SOAP).
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Integrations expert, with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Lead tasks within a project workstream to drive efficient completion and achieve project goals.
• Guide the client through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and client requirements.
• Support the client through all project phases, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday HCM.
• Regularly update client, project team and Engagement Manager on progress and changes.
• Take a leadership position on a project or as Cognizant/Workday partner lead or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise with data loads, tenant-to-tenant migrations and security configurations.
• Convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
• Mentor fellow consultants and analysts and support shadow assignments.
• Participate in update training and internal knowledge sharing.
