Cognizant in the United Kingdom is seeking a Workday Benefits Principal Consultant to lead design, configuration, and delivery of Workday Benefits solutions, guiding clients on strategy and best practices.

You will run client workshops, design eligibility rules and enrolment processes, mentor junior staff, support pre-sales, and drive governance across Benefits workstreams while ensuring delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Active Workday Benefits Certification required.
• Additional Workday certifications in HCM, Compensation, Payroll or Absence desirable.
• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience.
• Proven experience leading Workday Benefits workstreams on end-to-end implementations.
• Deep functional expertise in benefits administration and enrolment processes.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a Workday Benefits SME, guiding on strategy, administration, and best practices.
• Lead client workshops and design sessions to define Workday Benefits solutions.
• Design and configure Workday Benefits functionality, including eligibility rules and enrolment events.
• Advise on benefits programme design, compliance considerations, and process optimisation.
• Lead Benefits workstreams on medium to large Workday implementations.
• Partner with HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Reporting, Security, Integrations, and Change Management teams.
• Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Provide guidance on open enrolment and employee self-service.
• Mentor consultants and analysts with coaching and leadership.
• Support business development activities including estimations, proposals, and demonstrations.
• Contribute to practice development through training and knowledge sharing.
