Cognizant is seeking an Engagement Manager for its Workday Practice in the UK. You will lead end-to-end Workday implementations, handle budget and resource challenges, and drive customer satisfaction and project profitability. The role blends leadership, mentorship, and strategic delivery across medium to large engagements.

The position requires proven Workday project management, a background in HR/Finance, and eligibility for UK work authorization, with limited travel as needed.

Formación

• Successful project management experience leading medium to large Workday implementations.
• Previous Workday Consulting/Partner experience essential.
• A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Become an expert in Cognizant’s Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements.
• Manage 1 - 2 large Workday product implementations in the Project Manager role.
• Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW.
• Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.
• Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate when needed.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Collaborative consultants.
• Ensure project delivery within the budget outlined in the SOW.
• Present client with change orders to address scope, timeline or cost changes.
• Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.
• Work with Workday Delivery Assurance to ensure checkpoints compliance.
• Assist in transitioning the customer from professional services to product support.
• Help client become a reference post-implementation and identify opportunities for other offerings.
