Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is recruiting a Senior Water Resources Consultant to join our Sustainable Water Management team. You will deliver technical work across water resources planning, hydrology, and policy, manage projects, and help win new work through proposals.

You will work independently and as part of a team, applying your numerate and analytical skills to solve challenging problems, with opportunities to work on UK and international projects and to develop your career within WSP.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable water resources planning experience in consultancy or similar environments.
• Understanding UK Water Resource Planning Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in water resources modelling or demand management.
• Some programming experience (Python or R) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical outputs for water resources planning, modelling, and options appraisal.
• Support project management and client engagement, including proposals and bid development.
• Collaborate across disciplines (hydrogeology, water quality, flood risk) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to teams with a focus on UK and international projects.
