Job summary
WSP are seeking Hydrologists and Water Resources Hydrologists at all levels to join our Sustainable Water Management Consulting team in the UK. You will deliver hydrological analyses for national infrastructure and water clients, leading contributions for external and internal stakeholders.
Based on your interests you may contribute to flood modelling, water resources planning, and climate resilience initiatives, with flexible hybrid working and opportunities to collaborate across WSP's global
Qualifications
- Knowledge of UK hydrological techniques and updates.
- Experience carrying out reviews and calculations to satisfy UK statutory bodies (EA, SEPA, NRW or DfI).
- Commercial awareness with ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
- Ability to lead and win work by understanding client needs.
- Excellent report-writing, numerical and analytical skills.
- Chartership with a relevant professional body or commitment to work towards.
Responsibilities
- Lead hydrological contributions for external and internal clients.
- Contribute to national modelling and flood risk management projects.
- Deliver hydrology and water resources services to UK water companies.
- Support climate resilience and adaptation planning in water resources.
