Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Water Resources Consultant to drive delivery across water resources planning, modelling and policy. You will manage projects, support proposals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges for UK water companies and regulators.

The role offers hybrid working with opportunities to engage on international projects, developing expertise in areas like drought planning, environmental appraisal and risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in geography, hydrology, earth/environmental science, civil engineering or maths.
• Postgraduate qualification in water resources management, hydrology or related discipline.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical delivery of water resources projects and provide project management.
• Support winning new work through development of proposals and client engagement.
• Work independently and as part of a team, applying technical knowledge to solve problems.
• Collaborate across disciplines and potentially work on international assignments.
