WSP is seeking a Senior Water Resources Consultant to support our Sustainable Water Management team in the UK. You will lead technical delivery, project management and help win new work through proposals, focusing on water resources planning, modelling and policy.

The role offers hybrid working across UK offices, opportunities to work with regulators, water companies and international clients, and a pathway to chartership and broad professional development.

Qualificações

• Experience applying water resources management tools and planning experience in consultancy, water company, regulatory or academic settings.
• Understanding UK water resources management regulatory requirements including Water Resource Planning Guidelines.
• Experience in planning projects such as environmental destination, water resources modelling and/or demand management.
• Programming experience (Python and/or R) would be advantageous with interest in applying these skills to water management.
• Experience in small project management or interest in developing PM skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for high quality reports.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver technical outputs for water resources projects and provide project management support.
• Support winning new work through development of proposals and client engagements.
• Collaborate across disciplines (hydrogeology, water quality, flood risk, environmental assessment).
• Apply analytical skills to solve novel water resource challenges and guide decision making.
