Job summary

WSP is seeking a Water Quality and Catchment Management specialist to join our expanding UK team. You will analyze water quality data, conceptualise problems, and help design field monitoring campaigns, delivering technically rigorous reports to clients.

You will work with a UK-based team, collaborating across WSP’s global practice, and contribute to proposals and project delivery while developing expertise in catchment management and environmental chemistry.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications in Geography, Geology, Geochemistry, Earth/Environmental Science or similar.
• Higher degree in river or lake water quality, water chemistry or environmental science is desirable but not essential.
• Strong analytical ability and clear communication through writing or visuals.

Responsibilities

• Water quality data analysis, conceptualisation and visualisation; clear communication to stakeholders.
• Desk-based investigations and interpretation of datasets.
• Design field monitoring campaigns including traditional and non-traditional approaches.
• Delivery of technical reports and presentations to clients; and
• Winning new work and writing proposals for new projects.
• Project and task management; being a key member of the water quality team in Sustainable Water Management.
