Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Water Quality & Catchment Management specialist to help deliver sustainable water sector solutions. You will analyse data, design field campaigns, and prepare reports for regulators and clients, while collaborating with diverse teams across WSP’s global business.

Applicants should have degree-level qualifications in earth/environmental sciences, experience with water quality datasets, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications in geography, geology, earth/environmental science or equivalent.
• Higher degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
• Experience with MS Office and GIS packages (ArcGIS or QGIS).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Water quality data analysis, conceptualisation and visualisation with clear communication.
• Desk-based investigations and interpretation of datasets.
• Design field monitoring campaigns using traditional and non-traditional approaches.
• Deliver technical reports and client presentations; contribute to proposals.
• Participate in project and task management within the water quality team.
• Collaborate across WSP’s global teams while working UK-based.
• Be a key member of the Sustainable Water Management team.
