Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a Water Quality and Catchment Management specialist to support our Sustainable Water Management team in the UK. You will analyse water quality data, conceptualise problems, and help design field monitoring campaigns across the UK while collaborating with teams globally.

The role emphasises interpretation of time-series data, communication of findings via writing or visuals, and a strong interest in catchment management and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualifications in geography, geology, or earth/environmental science.
• Higher degree in water quality or related discipline is desirable.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with data interpretation, modelling tools and GIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Water quality data analysis, conceptualisation and visualisation.
• Desk-based investigations and interpretation of datasets.
• Design field monitoring campaigns and data collection plans.
• Delivery of technical reports and presentations to clients.
• Contribute to winning new work and writing proposals.
• Project and task management as part of the water quality team.
