Job summary
WSP is seeking a Water Quality and Catchment Management specialist to join our Sustainable Water Management team in the UK. You will analyse water quality data, conceptualise problems, and help design field monitoring campaigns.
You will communicate findings through reports and visualisations and contribute to client projects and proposals. The role supports collaboration across WSP’s global teams, with hybrid working options and opportunities for professional development, including chartership
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (geography, geology, geochemistry, earth/environmental science, civil engineering or similar).
- Higher degree in water quality, hydrochemistry, or environment-related discipline is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret datasets and communicate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct water quality data analysis, conceptualisation, and visualization.
- Undertake desk-based investigations and interpretation of datasets.
- Support design of field monitoring campaigns using traditional and non-traditional approaches.
- Prepare technical reports and client presentations; contribute to proposals for new projects.
- Participate in project and task management as part of the water quality team.
