Job summary

Co Active Limited in Torquay is seeking Waking Night Senior Health Care/Support Assistants who are caring, enthusiastic and experienced in complex care settings. The role focuses on mentoring fellow staff, supervising night shifts and delivering safe, dignified care.

You will work nights, assist with personal care, manage medication in line with policy, and ensure records are accurate while upholding CQC and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a care setting.
• Proven ability to work nights and manage shifts.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow policies and ensure resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage night shift delivering safe, dignified care.
• Mentor and supervise other Waking Night staff.
• Oversee medication administration per policy.
• Carry out personal care tasks and assist with activities.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of rooms.
