Job summary

Coactive Care is recruiting compassionate Health Care/Support Assistants for Spurfield House in Exeter. The role involves leading a waking night shift, assisting residents with personal care, and ensuring safe, dignified care in line with CQC standards.

We offer in-house development, mentorship, and opportunities for progression in a supportive environment. Flexibility for night shifts and weekend cover is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards
• Right to live and work in the UK
• 2 x Positive References
• DBS Check
• A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities

• Lead night care team to deliver safe, dignified care aligned with policy
• Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate records
• Assist residents with personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing
• Manage night shift, supervise waking night staff, and conduct briefings/meetings
• Perform domestic tasks as needed and ensure a clean, safe environment
