Job summary

Corinthia London seeks a Senior Waiter for Kerridge’s Bar & Grill to lead front-of-house during shifts and ensure an outstanding dining experience for guests.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate service operations, and uphold luxury hospitality standards in a 5-star environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Waiter at Kerridge’s plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. As a senior member of the front-of-house team, the Senior Waiter is responsible for leading, for example, providing support to junior staff, and overseeing service operations during shifts. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and a professional, efficient approach to service delivery.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience as a waiter in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings and menu offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and mentor junior staff.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Flexibility to work varied hours
• Takes pride in own professional grooming
