Arun Veterinary Group – Storrington is seeking a Lead Veterinary Receptionist to manage a busy client-facing team at our Storrington Hospital. This is a full-time role (min 35 hours, typically 40 hours) with a salary of £30,000 per year.

The role balances frontline receptionist duties with administrative support, including rota planning, onboarding, recruitment assistance and ongoing customer service improvements across our hospitals and branches.

Qualifications

• Existing receptionist and/or administrative experience within the veterinary industry
• Manager/senior/leader experience preferred
• Experience administering operations systems and processes
• Competency in the use of clinical computer and MS office suite systems

Responsabilités

• Participate in full as a receptionist ensuring always delivering gold-level standard of client care and customer service, including weekend and bank holiday rotas
• Rota planning and coordination of the receptionists within the hospital and support local branches
• Recruitment and onboarding support for the reception team
• Provide training and development for the reception team, including inductions for new starters and appraisals with Site Manager support
• Lead by example as a key receptionist on the desk and drive customer service improvements
