Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership in Gravesend for a Senior Vehicle Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, supporting a busy franchise workshop.

The role offers a competitive salary (£37,000 up to £58,000), a guaranteed £46,000 for the first three months, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, ongoing training, and wellbeing benefits within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Minimum of three years' experience in a dealership or reputable garage
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Proactive with attention to detail and customer-focused approach
• Previous experience as a Senior or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician is desirable
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a mechanical workshop

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carry out routine maintenance, including servicing and safety checks
• Complete accurate documentation of work performed
• Support the workshop team to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets as a Senior Vehicle Technician
• Ensure warranty and safety procedures are followed diligently
• Achieve Master Technician accreditation with the franchise
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support in a fast-paced environment
