Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with hands-on operational accounting experience.
• Proven cost modeling, variance analysis, forecasting, and business partnering within financial services or a fast-growth environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, Gemini) for troubleshooting and workflow improvements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive stakeholders.
• Pragmatic prioritisation of short-term operational priorities with continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operational Accounting & Month-End: Manage staff and non-staff management accounts, outturns, and journal reviews.
• Budgeting & Long-Term Planning: Lead cost and capex modelling during the January–March budget cycle.
• Cost Allocation & Modelling: Design and maintain cost allocation models for business inputs.
• ExCo & Stakeholder Engagement: Present cost performance dashboards and investor MI queries.
• AI & Automation Leadership: Embed an AI/automation-first mindset into cost workflows and streamline processes.
