Job summary

Hippo is a Leeds-based digital service design consultancy with offices across the UK. This senior consultant role sits within our User Experience division and offers a permanent position with a salary of £57,500 to £66,000 plus benefits.

You will design end-to-end user journeys across multiple touchpoints, run workshops, lead agile teams, translate complex policy into service propositions, and travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Depth in UX or Service Design with knowledge of the other.
• Strong understanding of mobile and web UX.
• Ability to show relevant work across complex service environments.
• Interest in emerging design and technology trends.
• Ability to anticipate use cases and edge cases in designs.
• Experience in rapid prototyping tools such as Sketch and InVision.
• Strong consultancy skills focused on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Propose ideas solving problems and shape them into user-centred solutions.
• Design end-to-end user journeys across touchpoints and channels.
• Use research and metrics to identify pain points and improve design.
• Explore approaches to ensure product flows logically from start to finish.
• Produce user journeys, sitemaps, navigation schemas and annotated wireframes.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback.
• Engage with agile, multidisciplinary teams through a user-centred process.
• Run workshops with teams and stakeholders.
• Share best practices and maintain high design standards.
• Advocate for design internally and externally.
