Job summary

Hippo is seeking an intermediate UX design consultant to join our multidisciplinary teams and help craft user-centred services for clients across the UK. You’ll collaborate with researchers, stakeholders and developers to test and iterate designs that meet user needs and business goals.

You’ll bring strong UX design capabilities, experience advising others on design decisions, and proficiency with prototyping tools like Sketch and Invision.

Qualifications

• Strong UX design skills and ability to advise on user-centred design.
• Experience working with user researchers and Agile teams.
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools such as Sketch and Invision.

Responsibilities

• Be part of Agile, multidisciplinary teams in a people-centred design process.
• Design end-to-end user journeys for optimal experiences.
• Use insights from research and metrics to identify pain points and improve design.
• Create journey maps, sitemaps, navigation schemas and wireframes.
• Support usability testing with user researchers.
• Run workshops with the team and stakeholders.
• Share best practices within the Hippo design community.
