Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead utility surveying projects and develop PAS 128 compliant outputs across multiple sites in the UK. You will oversee delivery, mentor junior staff, and support the growth of a growing utility surveying service.

Ideal candidates will have extensive PAS 128 experience, proficiency with GPR and location systems, and strong client communication skills to drive project success and future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Multiple years' experience delivering utility surveys (PAS 128).
• Strong knowledge of PAS 128 standards and TSA preferred.
• Proficient with surveying technologies including GPR and electromagnetic location systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team work.
• Proven ability to mentor junior surveyors and manage project workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish with high standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.
• Utilise surveying methods and equipment including total stations, GPS, GPR.
• Record underground assets and manhole inspection data accurately.
• Deliver survey reports to Project Managers and CAD Operators per standards.
• Maintain client relationships and provide technical guidance to clients.
