Job summary

WSP is recruiting a Senior Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and internationally. You’ll advise clients on utility constraints, develop innovative designs from concept to detailed design, and drive delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.

With a Chartered Engineer status and a Civil Engineering degree, you will manage complex schemes, coordinate with iDNO/ICP networks, and mentor junior engineers while upholding high quality and programme

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies for UK schemes.
• Understanding of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks in development contexts.
• Experience with Multi-Utility / iDNO / ICP and commercial risk.
• Ability to develop utility demand calculations for development needs.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a wide variety of Utility projects from local schemes to national significance.
• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams in the UK and internationally.
• Advise clients on technical utilities matters and develop innovative designs.
• Drive business growth by nurturing existing client relationships and winning new work.
• Mentor and develop the growing Utilities team and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships with clear communication and reports.
