Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior/Principal Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to join the Development team in the UK. The role focuses on advising clients on planning, diversions, and implementation of utility infrastructure across major multi-disciplinary projects.

You will work with a diverse client base, deliver schemes on budget, and mentor junior staff while progressing towards EngTech/ IEng/ CEng status with ICE or equivalent. Hybrid working with Leeds base offered.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Work from the WSP Leeds office in a modern environment.
• Maintain and develop client relationships within multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver schemes on budget and to a high standard of work.
• Provide senior client contact on key projects and mentor team members.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide technical guidance.
